Egyptian Minister of the Public Enterprise Sector, Hisham Tawfik, and Civil Aviation Minister, Mohamed Manar, conferred on Sunday on the final layout of a hotel tourism project that should be implemented in Ras Gamila district of Sharm el-Sheikh.
The two ministers discussed measures and executive steps needed to implement the project, in line with the set timetable, a statement by the Public Enterprise Sector Ministry said yesterday.
They also agreed to form teams and committees to periodically follow up on the implementation of the project, the statement added.
Tawfiq said the Ras Gamila project reflects integration among the different state institutions.
The area, he added, is rich with potentials that should attract specialised developers.
Minister Manar, for his part, hailed as ‘fruitful’ co-operation with the Ministry of the Public Enterprise Sector in the implementation of projects that serve Egypt’s economic interests.
