Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Saeed and Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) Abdel-Moneim al-Tarras have discussed means to bolster co-operation in all industrial fields, besides exploiting investment opportunities, as part of the efforts to achieve Egypt Vision 2030 for sustainable development.

The AOI’s vision covers training and qualifying human resources through the organisaton’s academy in line with the latest systems in manufacturing in addition to boosting the mechanisms of the digital management of machines.
Discussions touched upon the executive situation of the infrastructure projects at the New Administrative Capital (NAC), where the AOI is taking part in furnishing the government quarter.
Touring the AOI exhibition, el-Saeed highlighted the organisation’s role as an industrial support for the localisation of technology and deepening of local manufacturing.
The AOI possesses great industrial potential and ambitious plans for achieving a quantum shift in the local manufacturing, the minister said.
She welcomed greater co-operation with the AOI in all developmental economic and industrial projects.
The co-operation between the ministry and the AOI aims to exploit technology for promoting the services offered to the Egyptian people. Examples include equipping advanced mobile centres that offer municipal and notary services, the minister added.
