Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla has underlined the importance of new petroleum projects, whether in Upper Egypt or Nile Delta.
The minister’s remarks came on Thursday while attending alongside Irrigation Minister Hany Sowialam the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol to meet the water needs of the new petroleum projects.
The protocol is part of fruitful cooperation between both ministries to remove any obstacles facing oil investments and strategic projects, according to a statement issued by the Petroleum Ministry.
Such projects positively contribute to increasing the value added of natural resources and propelling the national economy, Molla said, extending thanks to both ministries’ officials working on cementing that fruitful cooperation.
