The official gazette published on Thursday decree no. 81 of 2023, which was endorsed by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, to issue the executive regulations for the Water Resources and Irrigation Law.
The articles of the law were taken into consideration to be balanced and achieve its main objective, which is to improve the management of water resources and achieve a fair distribution to all uses and beneficiaries.
Articles of the law also cover protecting water resources, water network, installations, equipment, irrigation and drainage.
