The National Elections Authority (NEA) said it is examining the timetable for holding the upcoming presidential elections under full judicial supervision, while taking into consideration the provisions of constitutional articles 140, 210 and 241 bis.
This came during the second meeting of the authority’s board under its chairman Walid Hamza.
The talks tackled needed administrative and logistic measures for the upcoming presidential elections.
The authority is updating the database of civil society organisations as well as local and foreign media to issue needed licences.
The authority stressed that it is the only source of information about the elections.
