CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi conferred with Egyptian Agriculture Minister El-Sayyed el-Qusair and his accompanying delegation on the implementation of the renovation of the Zoo and Orman Garden in the presence of the project consultant Bernard Harrison.
Morsi asserted the keenness of the Ministry of Military Production to participate in the implementation of the presidential directives on renovation of the Zoo and Orman Garden within the framework of the state’s plan to renovate all gardens to boost its role as open and green areas in the city.
The meeting comes in light of following up the latest developments in this file, Morsi said, adding that this co-operation with the Agriculture Ministry comes within the framework of the policy of the Ministry of Military Production to contribute to implementing national projects and development projects in co-operation with different bodies of the state within the framework of the sustainable development plan.
Meanwhile, Qusair said this meeting comes within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to pay attention to historical and heritage gardens.
The garden affiliated to the Agriculture Ministry will be renovated, Qusair said, asserting that there is a permanent fruitful co-operation between his ministry and the Ministry of Military Production to implement several projects that would benefit the citizens.
Also, Bernard lauded the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government recently to develop all the sectors of the state including the agriculture sector.
