Egypt’s Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El Din held a meeting on Thursday with Chairman of Korra Energi Ayman Korra on cooperation vistas in energy field.
Salah El Din said his ministry is keen on supporting the national economy, by establishing partnerships with private sector companies to meet the local market’s needs of different civilian products.
He added the Military Production Ministry and its affiliated companies work on implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives on the necessity of achieving integration with the local and international private sectors in various manufacturing areas.
The minister stated the military production companies manufacture power generation equipment that are used in executing civilian and military projects, as well as mega national projects such as the projects of housing and roads.
On his part, Ayman Korra said cooperation with the Military Production Ministry will contribute to reducing reliance on the foreign product and enhancing the competitiveness of the local product with regard to energy production.
Korra lauded the efforts exerted by the Military Production Ministry in backing the national economy, through its active participation in development projects.
