Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has said the political leadership gives special importance to the New Administrative Capital (NAC) project.
During a meeting to follow up on progress in implementing NAC’s infrastructure projects in the presence of Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Housing and Urban communities Assem el Gazzar, the prime minister said that work in the projects should go on round-the-clock to finalize their first phase.
Madbouli pointed out that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued clear directives on the importance of finalizing the projects and eliminating all obstacles hindering their progress.
The prime minister entrusted the minister of communications and information technology with taking measures aiming at increasing the number of companies working in NAC to accomplish its digital transformation system.
He said the work in the telephone exchange in the government district in NAC is now 100% complete.
On training government employees who will be moved to NAC, the minister of communications and information technology said 19,000 employees out of 37,000 have received training in the fields of digital transformation, corruption combat, project management and innovation
