Egypt’s Minister of International Co-operation Rania al Mashat and Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker discussed Saturday the listed energy projects within “NWFE” programme.
NWFE is a national platform for green projects and climate change action, which targets rallying developmental financing, technical support, and private sector investments for the priority development green projects, in the light of Egypt’s comprehensive national strategy for climate 2050.
In its statement, the International Co-operation Ministry said the meeting came as part President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to support national programmes working on climate change and hold co-operation with development partners in light of ongoing efforts for transition to a green economy.
