The cabinet media center denied news circulated by some social media about issuing a law on offering exceptional bonus for civil servants at all state sectors.
In a statement on Wednesday, the centre said it contacted the Finance Ministry which dismissed the news as baseless.
It underlined that exceptional bonuses are announced via official channels, stressing that all needed measures will be taken against mongers of such fake news.
The center called on social media users and media outlets to verify the authenticity of the news circulated to avoid perplexing public opinion.
