The Galala University has hosted a webinar gathering all researchers and those involved in the sustainability field. The webinar also presented funding opportunities for the researchers and scientists’ participation in the Partnership on Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA), which addresses many environmental challenges that impede the development process in the countries of the region.
This, a statement by the University said, marked the World Water Day, which is celebrated every year on March 22.
With the participation of more than 100 researchers from various spheres, the virtual symposium called for sustainable management of freshwater resources.
The webinar is under the patronage and participation of Dr Mohamed El Shinawi, Acting Vice President for International Relations, Community Service and Environmental Development, in collaboration with PRIMA, EU, ASRT and STDF
