Egypt’s Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad asserted that investment in coming generations and children is the genuine investment to conserve the environment and nature resources.
Fouad told MENA Wednesday that it is important to promote the nature protection thought and respect this culture.
She said the ministry is seeking to develop nature reserves with the help of children and young people to conserve the environment through including environmental notions and terms in books and activities as well.
Fouad said she is pleased that the Environmental Investment Support Week, that is held as part of the ministry’s celebrations to mark World Environment Day under the sponsorship of the premier started with Wadi Degla Protectorate and the launch of a specific campaign to support local communities with nature reserves to achieve sustainable living standard.
The Day’s celebrations concluded with opening the first club for science in Kobat El Hassana Protected Area in 6th of October City that aims to attain educational goals to maintain the environment conservation culture for students, according to her.
