Board Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company Yehia Zakaria said that the first air bridge flights launched on Friday, to transport 3,200 pilgrims from the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah rituals during the holy months of Sha’ban and Ramadan.
He added that EgyptAir has contracted with major tourist companies in Morocco to operate 11 flights with Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 309 passengers and an Airbus A330-200 with a capacity of 268 passengers.
The flights will take off from Casablanca, Tangier and Fez airports in Morocco via Cairo International Airport to both Jeddah and Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
