EgyptAir has announced that all its Beirut flights will depart one hour earlier than previously scheduled between 25 March and 21 April after Lebanon postponed implementation of Daylight-Saving Time (DST).
The airlines explained it received instructions from Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport that Lebanon will apply Daylight-Savings Time starting midnight on 21 April instead of midnight on 26 March.
“Accordingly, please be informed that all EgyptAir flights taking off from Beirut from 25 March till 21 April 2023 will be leaving one hour earlier,” EgyptAir said.
All passengers on flights from Beirut may contact the EgyptAir call centre for more information, the airlines said.
On Friday, the Lebanese government announced that it has postponed work with the DST until midnight on 21 April after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
