Preparations are underway for the first Baladna (Our Country’s) Industry exhibition, slated for 3-5 July.
The National Press Authority (NPA) is organising the ex-hibition in co-operation with three state-owned press institutions – Al-Ahram, Akhbar Al-Youm and Darul Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing.
The Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association is also taking part in organising the event.
The exhibition will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The exhibition, the largest gathering of national industries in Egypt, will showcase the achievements of the last seven years in local industry under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Government ministers concerned with industry, agriculture, electricity and solidarity as well as members of the business community, exhibitors and company owners will be under one roof to discuss the problems facing manufacturers and means of overcoming obstacles.
The government is intent on making this exhibition a huge success in keeping with Egypt’s position in local and foreign arenas.
Dar Al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing Chairman Eyad Abu el-Haggag said the exhibition serves as a platform from which everything new related to national industry and production will be launched.
Akhbar Al-Youm Board Chairman Ahmed Galal said that the state is keen to make this exhibition show
the advantages of Egyptian products, which enjoy high quality and global competitive edge.
