CAIRO – Egyptian Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi said the ministry works on enforcing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on human building and raising awareness among villagers.
The minister’s remarks came on Thursday during the signing ceremony of a co-operation protocol inked between the ministry and Misr El-Kheir Foundation and AGYAL Youth Development foundation to carry out ‘Values and Life’ project on raising awareness among citizens about human and societal values in some governorates.
The ministry will co-operate with both foundations to implement the project in a number of governorates, topped by Upper Egypt ones, targeting all villages covered by the presidential “Decent Life” initiative.
Shaarawi also lauded the great efforts made by both foundations and all NGOs to contribute to helping the state improve living standards for all citizens in different governorates.
