Egypt’s Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna asserted the importance of existing partnership and fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Local Development, the European Union (EU) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) via a technical support program that started operating in 2009 in the fields of supporting decentralization and reformation of local administration system.
The minister instructed Wednesday – as he was chairing the second meeting of a committee operating the technical support project of the ministry in the fields of decentralization and integrated local development – focusing on further supporting investments across the governorates.
He added that his ministry pays attention to the files of qualifying and training human cadres and building institutional abilities.
