CAIRO – Labour Minister Mohamed Gobran Sunday discussed with Egypt’s newly appointed Consul in Riyadh Yasser Hashem means of promoting co-operation and coordination on labour-related issues of mutual interest.
During the minister’s meeting with the newly appointed diplomat, who will assume his post at the beginning of September, at the minister’s office in the New Administrative Capital, Gobran emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation to create new opportunities for Egyptian youth in the Saudi labor market.
He praised strong collaboration between the two countries, especially in the area of professional testing.
Gobran underscored the Labor Ministry’s prepardness to provide the workforce required in all fields and professions in demand.
The minister, meanwhile, congratulated Hashem on his new appointment as Egypt’s consul general in Saudi Arabia and wished him success in his mission.
Gobran highlighted Labor Ministry’s efforts to develop the vocational training system and its initiatives to equip young people with the skills required by the labor market, in line with the international standards.
