10TH OF RAMADAN – Egyptian Labour Minister Hassan Shehata has reaffirmed Egyptian workers’ backing for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to complete building of the New Republic.
The minister’s remarks came at a ceremony, held on Thursday at Haier Egypt complex for electric appliances in 10th of Ramadan city, to mark Labour Day.
He directed to continue proceeding ahead with implementing directives of President Sisi to promote labour values, establish social dialogue principles and create good environment for work based on balanced rights and duties to increase production under the New Republic.
The Labour Ministry turned president Sisi’s directives into action during the past years, through developing relevant labor regulations to create employment stability and encourage investment, the minister said.
Shehata pointed out that the Labour Ministry played an important role on cutting unemployment rates in coordination with all state-run bodies nationwide.
The ministry also coordinated with private sector companies to help create further job opportunities.
He pointed out that the ministry also enforced the directives of the president to offer proper jobs for people with special needs.
The ministry also launched the 2030 vocational training project to qualify youths to meet the necessary requirements of the labor market, the minister said.
