KUWAIT CITY – Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed comfort for Egypt hosting the summit on Sudan’s neighboring countries, which concluded its work earlier in Cairo, KUNA reported.
In a statement, the ministry expressed comfort for enabling parties involved to discuss ways to end the conflict there, including its negative repercussions on neighbouring countries and on the security and stability of the region.
The statement affirmed the State of Kuwait’s aspiration for “all parties to respond to the outcomes of this summit, and to establish an effective mechanisms to settle the crisis in Sudan peacefully, in consistency with other regional and international paths, in a way that spares Sudan and its people its all the negative effects and preserves Sudan’s security, stability and territorial integrity.”
