Egyptian Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Hassan Khatib said the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Spain rose to dlrs 3 billion.
Speaking to Egypt’s Extra News satellite channel on the fringe of the Egyptian-Spanish business forum in Madrid, Khatib highlighted the balanced and growing trade relations between the two countries.
He noted that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commended Spain’s political stands in light of the current developments.
He added that his ministry is coordinating with the Spanish Ministry of Economy to boost trade exchange and investments between both countries.
He highlighted that the Egyptian state has over the past 10 years upgraded its infrastructure to be qualified to lure investments.
