AMMAN – Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Al Shamali has lauded strong and special co-operation and coordination with Egypt in all fields.
In statements to MENA on Thursday, he said both countries have deeply-rooted strategic ties under the leadership of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II.
The minister also praised the fruitful meeting of the joint higher-committee for industrial partnership for sustainable economic development, which has been recently held in Amman.
He lauded the inking of agreements among Egypt, Jordan, the UAE and Bahrain for the best interests of the four countries’ economic interests.
He noted that one of the most important outcomes of the committee meeting was the inking of a 2-billion-dollar investment agreement in the basic sectors of medicine, food security, electric vehicles programs and other fields in addition to creating more than 13,000 job opportunities in the four countries, he added.
