The joint Egyptian–Indian training exercise “Cyclone-4” has commenced, with the participation of elements from the Rangers Forces of Egypt and India.
The exercise will continue for several days at the Rangers Forces’ combat training headquarters in Egypt.
The activities began with a series of theoretical lectures aimed at achieving cohesion and unifying operational concepts among the participating forces.
This was followed by an exhibition showcasing the weapons and equipment to be used across the different phases of the training, reflecting the advanced capabilities of both sides.
The exercise includes a range of intensive field activities designed to enhance the exchange of expertise and the development of joint skills between participating personnel, thereby strengthening levels of interoperability and operational readiness.
This training comes within the framework of reinforcing military co-operation and expanding the exchange of expertise with friendly and partner nations, in a manner that supports shared interests and contributes to strengthening defence relations between the two sides.
