The German Agency for International Co-operation (GIZ) in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity implement the tasks of the Egyptian German High Level Joint Committee for Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection (JCEE) within the framework of the Egyptian-German co-operation.
On its Facebook, GIZ said in a statement on Monday that the JCEE presented the outcomes of a roadmap on shifting to a smart network to Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker, asserting that shifting to a smart network will support the development of electricity supply more efficiently in addition to reducing electricity losses.
