Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Oka Hiroshi said Tuesday his country will provide a grant worth 110,000 dollars to Egypt to support its small enterprises as part of a Japanese aid programme.
During a meeting with members of the Environment and Development Writers Association, the Japanese diplomat said that co-operation with Egypt is not only in favour of Egypt but rather in the interest of all African countries as Egypt is the gate of continent.
He said that Japan co-operates with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) to support environmental-friendly economic activities in Egypt and the single-use plastic programme.
