CAIRO – Ivorian Housing Minister Bruno Nabagné Koné and Ambassador to Egypt Timothy Ezouan have visited the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to get acquainted with Egypt’s urban experiment under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and benefit from the projects being implemented in the country.
The Ivorian delegation was received by senior officials at the headquarters of the New Administrative Capital authority, the Housing Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
A meeting was held between officials from the Housing Ministry and the Ivorian delegation, during which they discussed the idea of establishing the New Urban Communities Authority and the urban expansions carried out by the Egyptian State since the authority’s establishment.
The progress realized in all projects being implemented by the Egyptian Housing Ministry was reviewed during the meeting and the delegation members’ questions about relevant funding plans were responded.
The delegation members toured the underway projects in the New Administrative Capital including the housing and government districts.
The delegation members expressed their admiration for the achievements they witnessed during their tour, expressing their keenness to cooperate with the Egyptian companies in implementing such mega projects.
