Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Aati conferred on Tuesday with Danish Ambassador in Cairo Sven Ouling on joint co-operation in the water resources field.
During the meeting, Abdel-Aati asserted the good ties binding Egypt and Denmark in the various fields especially water resources.
The two sides reviewed current preparations for the 5th Cairo Water Week, the water-related events that will be held as part of the UN Climate Conference (COP27) as well as the participation of Danish companies in the exhibition to be held on the fringe of the 5th Water Week.
The Danish ambassador, for his part, was briefed on the measures taken by the irrigation ministry to improve the irrigation systems in Egypt and cope up with the negative impact of climate change.
