Egyptian Irrigation Minister Hany Suweilam conferred with heads of central administrations of water resources and irrigation in Alexandria, Beheira, Gharbiya, Dakahliya, Giza, Menoufia and Qalubiya, in separate meetings, on the water condition in these governorates within the framework of following up preparations for the maximum water needs.
Suweilam reiterated the importance of following up rice planting in these governorates to make sure of abiding by the areas allowed for rice planting.
