The 54th Cairo International Fair opens Thursday under the sponsorship of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The event, to be opened by Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea, will run from September 30 to October 8 at the Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC).
May Assal, Head of Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA), said that this year’s exhibition will see radical changes in form and content.
The fair’s 53rd edition was cancelled last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The exhibition will include carpets, furnishings, decoration, engineering and chemical industries, electrical appliances and food industries, as well as educational tools.
The exhibition coincides with the opening of the new academic year.
It is an opportunity for visitors to obtain all their needs of school supplies at affordable prices.
The Cairo International Fair is the largest event organised annually by the EECA and includes the largest gathering of Egyptian companies in their various sectors and products.
