Egypt’s International Co-operation Minister Rania el Mashat has praised efforts exerted to achieve integration between development partners and national bodies in Egypt.
This is meant to maximize returns from development co-operation programs, Mashat said, noting that a program to invest in human capital is in line with the government’s vision.
A statement by the UN news center quoted Mashat as having said that the partnership between Egypt and the World Food Program (WFP) had set the stage for integration that aimed to serve lowest-income communities through programs, such as the “Decent Life” which is meant to improve food security and living conditions, as well as encourage modern agriculture.
She touched upon a 2023-2027 comprehensive plan by the different UN organizations to be implemented in Egypt through new partnerships and smart technologies, noting that this would also help create partnership opportunities between the private and public sectors
