NEW ADMINISTRATIVE CAPITAL – Egyptian International Co-operation Minister Rania al-Mashaat said that Egypt is keen on consolidating ties with Qatar, in a way that serves the two countries’ interests and meets their peoples’ aspirations.
This came during the minister’s meeting with Qatari ambassador to Egypt Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari to discuss boosting Egyptian-Qatari relations.
During their meeting, Mashaat underlined her ministry’s role in enhancing bilateral ties through Egypt’s economic diplomacy principles aimed at maximizing the economic and social benefit from development financing.
These principles also meant to ensure that development projects are consistent with national priorities and sustainable development goals, along with improving the management of development co-operation to implement projects, with the aim of achieving the sustainable development goals.
She further underlined the ministry’s efforts in co-operation with development partners to provide concessional financing and technical support to the government and private sectors to meet the development requirements of the State.
