CAIRO – Egypt’s Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq said his ministry is keen on adopting a comprehensive strategy to upgrade the security system and protect human rights.
Tawfiq’s comments came during his participation in a celebration held on Sunday to mark the 70th anniversary the National Police Day, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The interior minister pointed to the great efforts exerted by policemen to maintain the country’s security, through launching proactive strikes against terrorists and countering cyber crimes
