CAIRO – The Interior Ministry wrapped up preparations for securing Thanaweya Amma (high school) exams, that will start nationwide on Monday.
Security forces will be deployed around schools to deal with any emergency and address any complaint by students, a security source told MENA.
The tight security plan also covers all roads leading to schools as measures were taken to ease any traffic congestion and facilitate the arrival of students to exam committees, the source added.
Thanaweya Amma is Egypt’s secondary school certificate, required to apply to universities and higher education institutions.
