Egypt’s Industry and Transport Minister Kamel Wazir said the ministry – represented by the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) – launched the eighth stage of offering industrial lands via the “Made in Egypt” Digital Industrial Platform from December 1 to 8.
The ministry offers 2,612 plots of lands at a total area of 15.207 million cubic meters in 37 industrial zones in 24 governorates, including Cairo, Giza, Alexanderia, Menoufia, Sharqiya, Ismailia, Suez, Port Said, Fayyoum, Behira, Qablioubia, Daqahliya, gharbiya, Kafr Sheikh and Mersa Matrouh.
This falls within the framework of the ministry’s strategy to accelerate boosting production, localizing industry and boosting exports.
In a statement on Thursday, Wazir underlined the importance of the ministerial group for industrial development.
He highlighted the need to unifying government efforts to implement an urgent plan to boost industry.
The IDA offers facilities and incentivies for investors seeking to get these lands.
