An Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft delivered the second consignment of India’s humanitarian assistance carrying 32 tons of aid for the people of Palestine on November 19th, 2023.
The relief material arrived at the Al Arish airport, where it was handed over to Egyptian Red Crescent for further transmission to Palestine.
India has delivered a total of 70 tons of aid to people of Palestine since the beginning of conflict, including the first consignment of humanitarian aid which was delivered in Al Arish on October 22nd 2023.
The first consignment consisted of 38 tons including 6.5 tons of medical aid and 32 tons of disaster relief material.
The materials include essential life-saving medicines, surgical items, tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, sanitary utilities, water purification tablets among other necessary items.
