CAIRO – The Embassy of India in Cairo announced Monday that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, affiliated with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, is offering 13 scholarships to Egyptian students as part of the Indian-African Friendship Scholarship Program for the academic year 2024-2025.
The embassy stated in a press release that these scholarships include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs at various Indian universities and institutes.
It clarified that interested students must register and apply through the A2A Scholarship Portal, affiliated with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, by May 31, 2024.
The embassy added that students aged between 18 and 40 can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, while the doctoral degree program is available for students under the age of 50.
According to the statement, the studies are conducted in English, and the scholarship covers travel costs, tuition fees, living stipend, and accommodation in the student city.
