CAIRO – Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto hailed the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and Hungary as well as Hungary’s readiness to sign more partnerships with Egypt at governmental and private sector levels.

This came at the end of a session of the Egyptian-Hungarian joint business forum in which a number of Egyptian and Hungarian ministers and senior officials also attended.

Siarto also thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the co-operation between the two countries in various fields including stopping the illegal migration. He also hoped that the talks between the private sectors in the two countries will reach more development partnerships.

The forum comes within the current visit of a Hungarian high-level delegation led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to Cairo in which Orbán met with President Sisi.

The forum also witnessed the participation of representatives of various companies working the fields of water, renewable energy, transportation, petroleum, gas, biotechnology, health, information technology, cars, medical equipment, agricultural machines and food industry.
