CAIRO – The Human Rights Sector of the Interior Ministry dispatched a delegation of male and female police officers to visit the Ahl Masr Burns Hospital in New Cairo on Wednesday.
The visit aims to offer psychological and moral support to patients.
The delegation toured the different departments of the hospital.
The hospital’s administration and patients along with their families thanked the Interior Ministry for the visit, which they said reflects the utmost keenness of police personnel to promote communication bridges with various society segments.
The move comes as part of an action strategy by the ministry for activating the societal role and humanitarian initiatives on all fronts, in addition to the active participation with all state institutions.
