Housing Minister Randa El‑Menshawy held a meeting on Tuesday to review progress on the development of Maspero Triangle and Magra El‑Oyoun in Cairo.
El‑Menshawy said the projects are part of the state’s plan to transform historic areas into modern urban communities attractive for investment and housing. They aim to reshape the capital’s image while offering residential, commercial, administrative, and leisure uses.
The Maspero Triangle project includes underground and upper parking for more than 600 cars, commercial floors, two residential towers with 936 units already allocated to eligible families, plus additional residential and administrative towers. Work is also underway on Nile Maspero Towers, three 30‑floor residential buildings with mixed‑use bases, parking, and a power station. Another project, Maspero Towers, covers 8,419 m² with hotel, residential, and office buildings.
At Magra El‑Oyoun, construction involves 79 residential buildings with 1,924 units, a hotel, and a mixed‑use mall with restaurants, cinemas, and an open theater.
The minister stressed the importance of meeting deadlines and accelerating work to achieve the projects’ goals.
