CAIRO – Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbini said on Sunday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued directives to increase construction progress rates in projects in the new Alamein City due to the importance of the city location on the northern coast.

During a meeting with CEOs of construction and maintenance companies, the minister called for eliminating all obstacles hindering the work progress in the projects.

He called on the construction companies to set a timetable for implementing the projects and handing over residential units to owners.

Spanning across more than 48,000 feddans and planned to accommodate more than 3 million people by 2030, New Alamein City has changed the perception of the North Coast. With 14km of a breathtaking turquoise shoreline, New Alamein City leaves its residents with homes in paradise.
