CAIRO – An agreement was reached on forming a committee to develop the work of the Tourism Development Authority (TDA), said Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities Assem el-Gazzar.
Gazzar’s statements came while presiding over the second meeting of the TDA board in the presence of the ministers of planning and economic development, tourism and antiquities, local development and finance, as well as the governors of the Red Sea, South Sinai and Luxor.
A statement issued by the ministry Monday said the meeting tackled a number of rules and mechanisms to deal with tourism development projects.
The minister added that the TDA offers all kinds of support to tourism development projects for magnifying the revenues and contributing to development process.
