Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar has said that Egypt is ready to transfer its expertise to Zimbabwe in the urban development domain.
During a meeting on Wednesday with Daniel Garwe, Minister of the National Housing and Social Amenities in Zimbabwe and his accompanying delegation, Gazar said that the develpment process Egypt is witnessing now is part of President Abdel Fatah El Sisi’s project to build new Egypt.
For his part, Garwe hailed Egypt’s urban development experience, expressing hope that his country would benefit from the Egyptian side through cooperation in establishing housing projects, developing unsafe areas and building new cities.
For his part, deputy housing minister for technical affairs Abdel Khalek Ibrahim posted the Zimbabwean minister on development projects including roads, housing, drinking water and sanitary drainage.
