Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif el-Sherbiny, reviewed the progress of “Decent Life” rural development projects in a meeting on Tuesday.
Minister el-Sherbiny reviewed project completion plans, mandating clear timelines and task assignments for “Decent Life” villages. He also ordered a performance evaluation of executing companies, emphasising the replacement of underperformers and improved inter-entity coordination, particularly for advanced projects.
He stressed the need to maximize the use of local products and components in all projects, directing affiliated entities to prioritize them for the “Decent Life” initiative. He also reviewed project progress and financial status and discussed coordination efforts to ensure timely completion.
