Egyptian Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar reviewed the projects that were implemented in Sheikh Zayed City in 2021 and the progress rate of the under-construction of the projects.
The housing sector in the city implemented 5,952 housing units in the different stages of “JANAA” housing project, Gazzar said, adding that the average rate of implementation of the project reached 85 per cent.
Gazzar said the construction of 1,920 housing units in the third stage of “JANAA” project was finalised, adding that the implementation of this stage of the project reached 77 per cent.
Head of the Sheikh Zayed development authority Moustafa Fahmi said the services sector included finishing the implementation of the workshop complex in the second regional services zone with a total cost of LE10.5 million.
The services projects included establishing two playgrounds with a total cost of LE9 million, he said.
