CAIRO – Egypt’s Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar said on Saturday that over 85,000 housing units have been established in New October City for the low-income and middle-income people from 2017 till 2021.
The housing units are available in different areas ranging between 75m², 90m², 108m², 115m² and 117m².
The construction cost of the housing units exceeded 15 billion pounds, Gazzar noted.
He added that New October City is one of the fourth-generation cities that the New Urban Communities Authority has been implementing since 2017.
