Egypt’s Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar met with Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese to follow up building churches in the new cities.
The Ministry of Housing is working on the directives of the political leadership to provide services for the residents of the new cities, including the religious services such as mosques and churches, a statement of the ministry quoted Gazzar as saying on Thursday.
