Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar on Sunday said Egypt has effectively handled major challenges posed by the population growth issue thanks to government’s efforts in this regard.
The minister was speaking at a session titled “National Projects and Infrastructure” that took place on the the second day of “The Story of A Homeland.. Between Vision and Achievement” in the New Administrative Capital, with the participation of President Abel Fattah El Sisi.
“Egypt has succeeded in overcoming the most significant challenges presented by the population growth issue,” minister Gazzar said, noting that some of the challenges have been completely eliminated, while efforts are still ongoing to fully uproot others.
