CAIRO – The House of Representatives has given its final approval to a draft law presented by the government on amending some articles of law no. 109 of 1971 on the police law.
The approval came after reviewing a report by the Defense and Security Committee and the office of the Constitutional and Legislative Committee.
The new law aims at striking a balance between judicial rulings, security work, and holding leading police posts.
