Higher education min.: Egypt ready to offer all facilities to UAE students

Egyptian Higher Education Minister Khalid Abdel Ghaffar underlined the depth of ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates at all levels, particularly in the higher education domain, expressing Egypt’s readiness to offer all facilities to UAE students studying in Egypt.

During his meeting with UAE Cultural attaché at the UAE embassy in Cairo Sheikh Ammar bin Nasser al Mulla, Abdel Ghaffar thanked Sheikh Ammar for his support of “Study in Egypt” Initiative.

He also stressed the importance of finalizing the twinning agreement between the Egyptian and UAE universities to promote research and scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise between researchers in both countries.

For his part, Sheikh Ammar invited the higher education minister to participate in “Expo 2020 Dubai”, which will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

The participation of an Egyptian delegation in this event will help open new horizons of cooperation between the two countries, he added.

He further noted that the UAE cultural attaché will open a new premises in Cairo in October.

The Egyptian and UAE higher education ministries will also sign a cooperation protocol within the framework of “Study in Egypt” Initiative, he stressed.
