The High school (Thanawyyia Amma) top achievers’ trip, organised by Al-Gomhouria Newspaper for the 61styear, set off from Cairo Airport to the German capital Berlin on Thursday morning.
El Gomhouria newspaper has been keen on preparing a distinguished cultural scientific and entertainment programme for the 34 top achievers, who include three students with special needs.
The Civil Aviation Ministry offered the students flights tickets free of charge, in honour of their excellence.
During their trip, the students are going to visit the most renowned tourist destinations in Germany, and recognize the industrial, economic and scientific renaissance that Germany is witnessing through a number of organised meetings.
They will also enjoy hours of shopping and buying souvenirs.
Eng. Yahia Zakaria, CEO of EgyptAir Company , said that the national company seeks always to support the brilliant students to recognize different cultures. He added that the trip also targets acknowledging our distinguished students with the notable positions of the national civil aviation system through their actual travel experience.
